Golf Cart Caddies – Are They still Around?

The golf cart caddy is said to be already a rare find especially in this time and age. Gone are the golfing days when the caddies where all around assisting the players. For now, the caddies are mostly seen in the movies or in some PGA events as shown via the television rather than in the real-life golfing arenas.

Who is a golf caddy?

A golf caddy is a part of the team. This person is the one who gives out the important tips and insights to the player. A caddy is also seen as the one who carries the golf bag and keeps the clubs. More so, a golf cart caddy ensures that every accessory is in its right place and the cart itself is clean and well-maintained.

But the golf caddies were often popularly employed during the time that the push/pull carts were yet being used. These days when the gas-powered or electric carts are adhered to, the caddies have seemed to retire as well.

What important task does the caddy carry out?

The golf caddy was once held to be vital in the attempt of learning how to play golf. In the earlier days, the caddy was the one who taught the player of the moves in the game. Nevertheless, the person was the best avenue to learn golf the fast way apart from having him carry the bag, clubs, and pull the cart.

A few pros still have the golf cart caddy in their teams but then again, they seem to be rare finds nowadays.
