Gas Golf Carts

Gas golf carts are available in many sizes, offering different gas storage and processing capacities.  Gas golf carts are great for long expeditions.  Gas golf carts are also a good choice for sustained use: spending a weekend away from electric power, or driving quite a bit at night with the lights on.  Gas golf carts are preferred in farming and hunting, as they can carry heavier loads than electric golf carts and are the better choice for sustained use.  Gas golf carts are cheaper and generally have more power than electric golf carts, however they cannot be used indoors and emit fumes.  Gas golf carts are generally more expensive to operate than electric golf carts, but choosing which is best for your particular needs is up to you.

The main brands of golf carts are Club Car, EZ Go, and Yamaha.  The golf carts sold for consumer use can reach speeds of 25 miles per hour (MPH) and they can be totally customized to your personal style.  However, even though gas golf carts are no longer as popular as electric models, they are still the top choice for some applications.  If you live in or near a golfing community you probably see golf carts on side roads and sometimes on the main streets.  Be sure to check on regulations in your area: some communities have gone so far as to ban gas golf carts due to the noise and pollution.  Golf carts were originally designed to take 2 golfers and their golf clubs around a golf course to increase the speed of play.

Due to increasing environmental concerns and improved technology, electric golf carts now dominate the market, while gas golf carts are becoming harder and harder to find.  Gas golf carts are much cheaper to use than an automobile.  Used gas golf carts are not quite so easy to get hold of as electric carts This is mainly because many used carts sold by dealers come from golf clubs refreshing their fleet and clubs tend to buy in electric carts However, there is still a demand for used.  Gas golf carts are better suited for hilly terrain and they are generally more powerful than electric golf cars.
